Our mission is to build quality math education programs through collaborative partnerships that drive greater social justice.

Teachers2Teachers Global (T2TGlobal) believes mathematics education creates a more equitable world. Founded in 2014, we work in schools that are committed to providing a high-quality education but face systemic barriers.

Our professional development programs empower local teachers with evidence-based best practices. Teachers learn new strategies at our workshops and are supported by local T2TGlobal team members to apply them in their classrooms. Graduates of T2TGlobal programs develop into leaders who coach their colleagues. This learn-apply-lead approach articulates a clear, measurable path to generating student outcomes in critical thinking and problem solving.

The power of T2TGlobal’s model comes from an expert network of world-renowned mathematics educators. We’re a young nonprofit with the expertise of an established research institution. By building collaborative partnerships between expert coaches and local teachers, classrooms are transformed and student learning deepens.

Founding Story

The point in your life when everything changes can arrive like a typhoon or a gentle breeze. Sometimes only in hindsight can you isolate the exact moment your path veered off the path you expected.

For Dr. Chadd McGlone, that moment arrived during an altogether mundane conversation with his daughter about her college search. As they discussed her dreams of travel, Chadd remembered an invitation extended to him by a math education colleague.

Fast forward to find Chadd and Charlotte spending two weeks at an elementary school in a remote mountain village in Guatemala. The teachers and students there were so excited about learning that Chadd began to envision how he could continue this work in other vulnerable communities. After consulting with nonprofit education experts, he created Teachers2Teachers Global just a few months later.

Since then, T2TGlobal has built support for teachers in mathematics. As the movement grew, Chadd left his job teaching middle school to provide full-time leadership. His wife, Jenny, joined him soon after, overseeing communications.
