Director of Development

At Teachers2Teachers Global, we believe education is key to creating a more just and equal world. We provide teachers with professional development resources in STEM that positively transform the way students and teachers interact in the classroom. We also support a global learning community by fostering collaboration between domestic and international education partners.

Position Overview: As Development Director, you will be responsible for a fundraising program that drives revenue and builds a strong, genuine community around the T2TGlobal mission. The successful candidate will know the fundraising basics and feel passionate about exploring new, creative partnership models designed to fuel engagement and accelerate growth.


  • Establish and monitor revenue goals and expenditure for all areas of development including individual and corporate giving, peer-to-peer fundraising, foundations, and events
  • Manage a portfolio of individual and corporate partners; deepen existing relationships and create new opportunities for engagement through customized cultivation, pitches and stewardship plans
  • Collaborate with leadership team members to design multiyear engagement plans for major universities and other key partners
  • Consistently generate new leads and work directly with leadership team members to identify new prospective investors
  • Develop communication plans for all donor segments and modify existing systems as needed; work closely with VP of Programs & Impact to ensure reporting is transparent and timely
  • Write or support the writing of blogs, press releases, or other promotional materials to increase awareness of the causes, missions, or goals of T2TGlobal; create fundraising and advocacy toolkits for T2TGlobal ambassadors
  • Oversee the organization’s donor database/CRM strategy and integrity; create internal dashboards that monitor revenue and expenditures in real time


  • B.A. and 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with people from all backgrounds
  • Comfortable with domestic and international travel
  • English required, Spanish encouraged
