Chadd McGlone is co-founder and Executive Director of Teachers2Teachers Global, as well as creator of Global Math Stories. Before founding T2T-International (as it was originally called) in 2013, Chadd taught middle school mathematics and science for more than 15 years. He is also president of the North American chapter of the International Study Group on Ethnomathematics. Chadd has worked to help teachers make global connections in their classrooms and has delivered numerous presentations and workshops around the US and in other countries. Chadd earned his PhD in education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He currently lives in Chapel Hill with his wife, Jenny, and daughter, Helen. He looks forward to his older daughter and Global Math Story author, Charlotte, moving back to NC soon.
Jenny McGlone is co-founder and Director of Communications who has a professional background in psychology. She worked in university counseling centers around the US, where her job responsibilities included teaching undergraduate courses, supervising clinical psychology graduate students, and providing individual and group psychotherapy. She also worked with academically struggling college students at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. From 2010 to 2014, she taught high school psychology at a local school. Jenny earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Davidson College, a Master’s Degree in Psychology from Wake Forest University, and a PhD in Counseling Psychology from Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. She lives in Chapel Hill, NC, with Chadd in their soon-to-be-empty nest.
